Around Padstow

Our lovely harbour

Padstow is well renowned for it’s restaurants, all within a short walk of our property. Whether you want to visit one of Rick Stein’s many establishments, or Paul Ainsworth or Adrian Oliver, they are all close at hand with Nathan Outlaw and Jamie Oliver within easy reach.

Also close at hand are many of the superb beaches of the North Cornish coast, the Camel Trail for walking and cycling, and a host of water activities on the Camel Estuary.
In the summer, brass bands play on the bandstandon a Sunday, and of course, Padstow is renowned for the May Day celebrations.  In the winter on a Sunday evening the Padstow Carollers can be heard singing the beautiful Padstow Carols around the town.

At the top of the town is the renowned Prideaux Place, home of the Prideaux-Brune family. The house and grounds are open to the public and well worth a visit. It even has its own deer park, and if you’re lucky, you may get to see the deer being fed!
